New Polish Alert

Greetings! I went to Ulta last week Friday and bought a nail polish that I’ve been wanting for a while. This polish is, of course, from OPI and is called Cozu-Melted in the Sun. It’s a light pink nail polish that I thought was gorgeous.

I didn’t buy it the first time I saw it because I was broke and irresponsible at the time. Now that I’m not as broke and slightly more responsible, this pink polish is the newest addition to my collection.

On Wednesday, I tried it on my fingernails just to see how I would like it. I was so in love! I usually put two coats of polish on when I paint my nails, but I didn’t have to with this one. One good amount of polish did the trick for me. My favorite thing about this polish is that it’s shimmery. Here’s what it looks like.

Even though I love the color, I sometimes have mixed feelings about it being brighter than I would like. I’m used to wearing darker colors since they look great with my skin. I took it off after three days because the polish on my right index fingernail was almost completely rubbed off, along with the tips of most of my other nails. I also had to cut my nails because I scratched my eyeball while taking my contact lenses out. That’s beside the point, though.

I plan to try this polish on my toenails once the current polish starts to look bad. BTW, it’s going on a month now, and the polish on my toes still look great. I’m currently wearing the Meet Me on the Star Ferry polish on my toenails.

In conclusion, this shimmery shade of pink is to die for and would look perfect in the springtime. I’ll be rocking this during the summer, though, because I’m a rebel who doesn’t follow rules 😉
